When asked about the name of the tour, Mike Shinoda responded “‘Carnivores’ is a metaphor that is meant to convey an appetite for something visceral and substantive. I feel that’s exactly the hunger this tour will feed.” 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto adds, ‎”We are so excited to join our friends on this epic journey. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers set to tour this summer!

After a four-year layoff,  Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will return on July 29 with their 13th studio album, ‘Hypnotic Eye.’

The tour is set to begin August 3rd in San Diego, California.  As well as a previously announced headline performance at the San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival and at the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Va., the below dates also include the band’s first ever performance at Boston’s Fenway Park, scheduled to take place this coming Labor Day!

Petty told Rolling Stone that the new record leans heavily on the Heartbreakers’ rock side, saying that guitarist Mike Campbell told him, “‘You sing like you did on the first two albums.’ Maybe this album does sound like that. But it’s that band 30 years later. … It would be very hard to make this record without a band that has been together this long, with those kinds of instincts. I’m relieved to have that.”

This tour is slated to be one of the hottest summer tours, and A Place For Tickets has the greatest selection for every city on the tour! Give us a call at 1-866-922-8499 or 954-922-8899 or view and purchase tickets here: http://bit.ly/1maEDE4

Counting Crows get ready for huge summer tour!

In just a few weeks, The Counting Crows will be heading out on a much anticipated summer tour! The tour comes just before the release of the bands fourth studio album release. “We spent the fall writing songs in New York, and we spent the winter recording them out in Berkeley. We finished a new album of all new songs, and we’re looking forward to getting out on the road and playing them,” said lead vocalist Adam Duritz. “Come out and see us – we’re excited about this.”

Joining in on the fun are special guests Toad The Wet Sprocket! “We’re honored to be on the road with Counting Crows on the summer of our 25th anniversary. We recently released New Constellation, our first album in 16 years. Adam Duritz is partially responsible – five years after we broke up, he asked us to reform and play a few shows opening for Counting Crows,” said lead vocalist and guitarist Glen Phillips. “That tour was the first crack in the ice, and now we are back together, touring again with the band that first encouraged us to give it another go.”

Fans looking to get tickets to any of the upcoming shows can do so by calling A Place For Tickets at 1-866-922-4899 or 954-922-8899 or view and purchase tickets online here: http://bit.ly/1mFVoKr
